WSOG Tour Final
The format is a 2 man net best ball, playing to 60% of your handicap (each player plays his/her own ball and handicap; Taking low net score per hole from you or your partner.
Handicaps: 0.5 or higher will be rounded up unless it is a (+) handicap which will be rounded down in accordance with USGA rules.
Format/Handicap Example: If your Usghin handicap is a 12.4 you would play to 60% which would be 7.44, rounding this number down would be a 7. This allows you to get a pop (stroke) on the 7 toughest holes based on the stoke index on the course. In this case at Arizona National Golf Club you would pop on hole 2,5,9,10,11,14, and15. A net par on hole 2 would give you a gross birdie. If you have a plus 3 handicap this means you would have to give a stroke on the 2 easiest holes based on the stroke index. In this case you would give a pop on 3, and 12. A par on hole 3 is now a bogey. . Each players pops will be circled on your score card to save any confusion.

They will review your scorecard and once the scorecards have been double checked and signed off by everyone. Incorrect scorecards and unsigned scorecards may be disqualified.
-Play the ball as it lies.
-Do NOT move, bend, or break anything growing or fixed, except in fairly taking your stance or swing. -Do NOT press anything down.
-You may lift “natural” objects NOT fixed or growing, except in a water hazard or bunker. NO penalty.
-You may take relief from casual water, ground under repair, burrowing animal holes or casts, anywhere hazard. On the putting green, place except in a water at the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole; otherwise drop within one club length of the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole. In a bunker, you MUST drop in the bunker. NO penalty.
–The desert rule in golf allows players to drop out with a one-stroke penalty if their ball comes to rest in the desert. Players do not have to find their ball or even look for it, which saves time. The ball should be dropped within 2 club lengths from the point where it entered the desert, no nearer the hole. The player may drop a ball within two club-lengths of the point where the ball last crossed the grass line.
–Never hit moving balls. Now, this rule has the exception of the ball being in the water. However, if the ball is anywhere on the green and it is moving, do NOT hit it. If the shot was an intentional double hit, then you will be penalized. Meaning that if the ball is still moving and you knowingly hit it again, you will be penalized.
-If you think your ball is out of bounds, you can play a “provisional” ball. If you suspect that your ball is lost or went into the water, then you can hit a provisional ball from the same location. If you find your other ball, then you can play that one and remove the provisional ball without penalty. If the ball is, indeed, lost, then you can play on with your provisional ball at a one stroke penalty.
-Make sure to tee up behind the indicated tee markers.
-Be sure to use your own ball.
If there is any clear manipulation of handicap or cheating noted during play, the player or
